SHOFLO: The Future Of TV

I’ve discovered a great and innovative creation for live broadcast events. The self-proclaimed new standard in industry cue sheets is called SHOFLO. It truly is an amazing way to keep business flowing even when the key personnel are spread across the world. It has so many features to ensure full connectivity between everyone you need that it will make your head spin. It is full compatible across almost any of today’s standard platforms, it is web based, and it lets you keep everything you need for your event in the cloud.

It’s hard to believe people still use cardboard to make cue sheets for their television broadcasts. But even when you look behind the scenes of shows like; The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Ellen Degeneres Show, and even 106 & Park; they aren’t only using Teleprompters; they are getting last minute cues from ear buds and cardboard cue sheets. It seems that this is still the standard because of last minute changes in current events, which all the major talk shows start with. The only way for this to be fixed is to create a way that the staff has access to the current cues going in front of the talent and making the on the spot changes. SHOFLO seems to be that solution.

No matter where your staff is in the world, they can still participate in the creation and development of the event. The SHOFLO platform is web based so that no one has to download, or find plug-in for that matter to use the application. It allows the users to connect from any of todays platforms on you phone, tablet, PC, etc.

Everyone is connected to everything. The SHOFLO platform allows users to make real time edits to schedules, agendas, and of course the cue sheets. But it also allows the staff to create, save, and edit the stage renderings and technical drawing such as lighting and wiring. Being able to have the entire staff see the schedule and agenda from their phone save time and money. Printing out schedules and reprinting updates is a long and tedious task. And email after email after email of updates is also annoying. This platform allows you to updates right in the platform and everyone can access it from there.

This company presented at the Orlando 1 Million Cups event in 2013.  1 Million Cups is a weekly event held in different cities all over the world. Each week they give 2 entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their dream to other entrepreneurs, mentors, and advisors. This year Orlando 1 Million Cups event will be January 15, 2014 at the East End Market (3201 Corrine Dr. Orlando Fl. 32803). This is a great way to see professional presentations given and critiqued by a group that hears them every week. See you there! Take Notes!
